The brief

Omega is a UK registered online pharmacy, trading since 2001, with premises in London and Birmingham and a full clinic online: find a condition, complete a consultation, get medicine delivered.

Regulated healthcare has a design problem. The more lawful it looks, the colder it feels. The site had to carry GPhC registration, named pharmacists and doctor checks, and still feel like somewhere you would ask a question about your own body.

Decisions

Lead with the trip, not the pharmacy

The homepage opens on travel and “Get Yourself Travel Ready!”. It is the one service people plan for in advance, which makes it the one that earns a visit before anyone is ill.

Three steps, drawn like a diagram

Find a Condition, Complete a Consultation, Get your Medicine Delivered. The whole telehealth model sits in one illustrated band: doctors review your answers, payment runs through Sage Pay, the pharmacy dispenses. Nothing about it is left vague.

Regulation as reassurance

GPhC registration number, registered owner, named superintendent pharmacist, a checkable doctor registration. What the law requires in small print, the design treats as proof and puts on display.

Health content goes flat fast. The travel clinic let us talk to people while they were still planning something.

The path

  1. 01

    Arrive

Travel clinic hero: plan ahead, stay well, one outlined action.

  2. 02

    Find

Six condition cards, written in plain language, photography over jargon.

  3. 03

    Consult

An online consultation instead of a waiting room. Doctors review every answer before anything is prescribed.

  4. 04

    Receive

Secure checkout through Sage Pay, dispensed by the pharmacy, delivered to the door.

  5. 05

    Return

Sign up turns a single order into an ongoing pharmacy relationship.

Red route · step 03The consultation is the product. If answering a doctor’s questions online feels safe, everything else follows.

Rounded grotesque

A soft, wide sans set in bold for headlines and light for supporting copy. The rounded terminals keep clinical subject matter approachable. The same content in a sharp grotesque would read like a hospital form.
