The brief
Aura has laid floors for almost fifty years: parquet, tile, and everything between. The site had to sell what that experience produces, a finished room, to a customer mid renovation who is comparing showrooms and wondering who will actually turn up.
So the site had to do two jobs at once: look like the interiors it produces, and make booking a real person feel effortless.
Decisions
Booking, not enquiring
Most flooring sites end at a contact form and a promise to reply. Aura ends at a booked slot: pick a date, pick a time, leave your details, done. The commitment is small, the certainty is total.
Services named the way clients ask
Installation, Maintenance & Repair, Consultation, Renovation. Four cards, four plain words. Nobody has to guess whether their job is covered before they can find a price.
Arches, because rooms have them
Every image sits inside an arch mask. It is a small decision that does a lot: the photography stops reading like a catalogue and starts reading like a doorway into a finished space.
A booked appointment beats a contact form. Small ask, clear answer.

The path
- 01
Browse
Homepage: “We value quality”, then Our Range. The material palette up front.
- 02
Compare
Services & Care lays out installation, maintenance, consultation and renovation side by side.
- 03
Trust
About carries who we are, recent projects and what clients say.
- 04
Schedule
Booking opens on a calendar: date and time chosen in one view.
- 05
Confirm
Personal details, then a clean done state. No ambiguity about what happens next.
Red route · step 04A booked slot, not an enquiry. The whole site funnels to the calendar.
The system
A rounded sans carries headlines and the booking flow; body copy runs in a quiet serif. The pairing splits the work: the sans sells and instructs, the serif tells fifty years of story.
Arch image mask
The signature shape, applied across range, projects and services imagery.
Service card
Photo, title, short promise. One pattern for all four services.
Booking modal
Four states: calendar, date & time, personal details, confirmation. With cancel always available.
Testimonial block
Client quotes on the About page, paired with recent project imagery.
